Downtown Frankfurt

This friday, on my way home I had to stop in Frankfurt to pick something up. And since I got there a bit earlier and there was still light outside, I thought I’d take my camera and shoot couple of pictures downtown. It was a bit nostalgic to see the city again.

As usual, each picture takes you to its Deviantart page, where you can click to view a bigger and more detailed version.

Iar greu nu e, are doar 1.2 Kg.

[:en]Because, most of the time, when there are strong contrasts in the scene a normal picture simply can’t show all the details. Details in either shadows or highlights (sky, clouds, etc) are lost.

The images above were made without tripod. But when I have it with me, it’s not so bad. I have a Slik Sprint PRO EZ tripod, the legs have 4 segments and when collapsed, it’s extremely compact. Only 45cm or so, I can have it on my shoulder without bothering me. And it’s not heavy either, only 1.2Kg

Trebuie sa recunosc ca nici eu nu sunt mare fan HDR, in particular cele in care tone mapping e evident exagerat si poza nu mai e realista. Desi unele imi plac :).
